About Me

I am a math professor and writer based at Moraine Valley Community College teaching courses ranging from statistics to linear algebra. One of my fun side projects is mathbootcamps.com where I am working on creating a free and easy to use guide to college and high school level math. I tend to write about the “behind the scenes” view of projects that I’m working on and about tool/ideas that I find useful or am currently having fun with.

  1. Your YouTube videos helped my get through my Business Calculus course. I am an older, math-phobic student with an instructor who gave lectures just short of the speed of sound. Your videos allowed me to review and dissect the the material until I understood it.
    Thank you!

    • I have no idea why this comment didn’t show earlier but still wanted to say thanks for letting me know! It is great to know that the videos are helping someone :).

  2. Thank you for being such a great teacher! It’s been over 3 years since I had a statistics class with you, but I have never seen better teacher since. Great YouTube videos, thank you for everything!
